Linda Buckman, Personal Stylist

About Linda

As a certified image professional and leading-edge personal stylist, Linda Buckman helps people develop authentic signature style so that they look and feel fantastic and achieve their goals in life. Linda’s high success rate with clients is due to her ability to translate personality and body type into an outward look through the use of her own highly refined Signature Style AssessmentTM and Body Type AssessmentTM .

Linda was born with a remarkable, discerning eye for creating distinguished beauty and started winning national art awards at age twelve. Her career as a personal stylist began at the same time when she picked outfit combinations for her older sister to wear to school.

After graduating from The Colorado College in 1979 with a degree in art, history and elementary education, Linda taught school for six years before moving to San Francisco to pursue a career in design. By 1989, Linda was designing, marketing, and selling a unique line of women's ready-to-wear clothing.

For the last fifteen years, Linda’s noteworthy career has also included European training as a professional makeup artist and creation of her own makeup line, California Blends. She is an expert in color analysis and earned the admirable level of CIP, (Certified Image Professional) in 1999 with the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), a prestigious worldwide organization.

In 2000-2001, Linda was president of AICI, San Francisco Bay Area and volunteered as editor-in-chief of Image Perspective, a 12 page image periodical from 1999-2002. Today, she writes a popular column,  “Signature Style, Who’s Got It?,” for Image Perspective.

Linda is dedicated to creating a signature wardrobe for each of her clients. She shops in Paris three to four times a year and continues to add young, talented couture designers to her wealth of resources for unique, exquisite quality and well-priced fashion.
